Icelandic composer Bjarni Biering is not your average musician. As a child, he would sit in concert halls or in front of hi-fis, listening and laboriously studying the sounds produced. This obsession with sound and structure would lead him to a BA in Music Composition from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts and an MA in Composition from the University of Bristol. Trust your ears - this London based multi-instrumentalist has a certified skill to stimulate emotions through his music. From delicate piano pieces to bold orchestral film scores, Bjarni brings moving images to life by injecting a unique Nordic touch into his compositions. If he’s not scoring the next underground UK documentary or independent film, you might find him recording electronic tracks with various upcoming artists.
